Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Transfer and Graduate Scholar
Kaming Leung is a first-generation student at the University of Michigan's College of Engineering. Like many underprivileged students, Kaming once faced the daunting challenge of affording college while pursuing his dream of becoming an engineer. He planned to enter the workforce after earning his associate degree at a community college. He believed that attending a top engineering school was out of reach due to overwhelming tuition costs.
Everything changed when he won the prestigious Jack Kent College Transfer Scholarship that lifted the financial burden and opened the doors to his dream school. Kaming is grateful for every opportunity and the people who supported him along the way. He is now committed to giving back.
With a mission to help hardworking students overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic dreams, he founded FutureScholars—a platform designed to guide students in winning the most competitive scholarships in the U.S. Kaming is passionate about empowering others to transform what once felt impossible into reality.

Jadon Oliver is an Amazon Future Engineer and Gates Scholar studying Computer Science Engineering as a first-year student at the University of Michigan. Jadon is dedicated to leveraging technology to tackle real-world challenges. The scholarships transformed his educational journey by opening invaluable opportunities and eliminating financial barriers. He is deeply committed to helping students from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds thrive. Through mentorship and guidance, Jadon aims to empower hardworking students to maximize their chances of winning scholarships and achieving success regardless of their circumstances.
